After working with HelpHarryHelpOthers for eight years in various capacities, we jumped at the opportunity to develop a brand for their new fundraising venture that would be fun and representative of the city. Birmingham Walkathon would need a website and all social media creation and management, along with collateral to support the event after launch.
While developing new Birmingham Walkathon the brand, we wanted to make sure to use the cancer charity’s vibrant colouring to ensure there was some connection back to the charity running this event without using their full branding. We created bespoke design elements such as the footprint to use both in the logo and throughout all collateral to create a cohesive design.
For the website, we conducted thorough research and ultimately decided to create a bespoke integrated fundraising platform, as this was the most cost-effective option for the client. The website had to allow for online signups, ability to have personal fundraising pages, custom route maps, and a shop for event merchandise.
Birmingham Walkathon is due to take place on 2 April 2023. We are now part of the official planning team and are working with a number of businesses and celebrities to get them involved in the promotion of the event. On the day, in order to give back we will be supporting the charity in managing the check-in desks for all of the participants.
